Facilities

The Drama Department is housed in two buildings on campus, the Carol Belk Theatre and New Hall.

Carol Belk Theatre houses the arena theater (that can be adapted to thrust), four faculty offices, the box office for Theatre UNCA, the Department's main office, and the scene and costume shops. The theater seats 199 in arena format and is the main playing space for the department.

New Hall houses two faculty offices and the acting lab (for acting classes and the rehearsal space) and the design lab.

The Design Lab in New Hall contains drafting tables and 10 computer stations that contain lighting, graphic, sound, scenic and costuming software.
