Suzie has lived in three different countries and worked in the fields of advertising, motion picture production, radio, theatre and television. For about fifteen years, she was a contract employee in the film industry, where she worked her way up from a scenic assistant to set dresser to art department coordinator in a matter of three years. She was a Production Supervisor/Coordinator for over ten years and traveled around the Eastern part of the U.S and in Western Europe to manage the Production Office for various Hollywood studios. She successfully coordinated the production office for over fifteen motion pictures, as well as a few commercials and industrial films in various cities, states and in Europe.

Suzie is the first in her family to complete college, where she was a non-traditional aged student. She obtained two Bachelor of Arts degrees simultaneously and with honors: one in Cinematography and the other in Theatre Arts: Stage Management.  In addition, Suzie holds a certificate in Broadcast Arts and received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies in 2006. Her thesis involved a play she co-wrote which was based on a Welsh folktale.  She also produced and directed the play as part of her thesis defense.

In the early 80’s, Suzie became the first female News Director in Flint, MI. At the same time, she was also co-host of a morning show that received the Billboard Magazine Award for “Best Morning Show in the Nation in a Medium Market”, two years running. As a result, she and her co-host served as role models for the content of many other morning radio programs at the time and still bear some influence today. She was one of the first female co-hosts at that time and she was also the first full time female announcer in a prime time slot in that area. A recent documentary on the radio station and its personnel during this time period is currently on permanent display at the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

Suzie's first love is and always has been the theatre.
